My Role
Full account ownership from day one. The site had no analytics, no active campaigns, and no CRM when I onboarded in December 2024. I oversaw the new website build, launched four ad platforms, developed the SEO content strategy, implemented a CRM, and served as the primary client contact across an 18-month engagement.
The Situation
Overhead Door Company of Madison is a residential and commercial garage door contractor facing a direct competitive threat from a copycat business ("Madison Overhead Door") siphoning brand searches. At kickoff, there was no Google Search Console setup, no ad campaigns, no CRM, and an outdated website — the digital presence was effectively zero.
What I Did
- Coordinated a full website redesign — wrote all SEO copy, managed the build with design and dev teams, and launched the new site in late 2025
- Resolved a Google Ads trademark dispute caused by the "Madison Overhead Door" copycat, unblocking ad activation for the legitimate business
- Launched and managed four paid channels — Google Ads (Search + Display), Meta Ads, and Bing Ads; best month (April 2026) produced 17 conversions at $39.47 CPL
- Built an SEO content strategy targeting Madison-area garage door queries; developed 10+ Dane County location pages and ranked at position 5.9 for "garage door repair madison wi" (5,840 impressions)
- Implemented GoHighLevel CRM with residential and commercial pipelines; onboarded the client team and built a Looker Studio reporting dashboard
- Ran bi-weekly client calls for 18 months; produced meeting notes and action items after every call
